Each year, the Kiwanis Foundation of Grants Pass, Oregon provides funding for youth-based programs, grants and scholarships to dozens of local non-profit organizations. Funding ranges from $500 to $5,000. The majority of funds distributed are raised through various special events such as the Grants PassKiwanis Biz for Kidz partnerships with community leaders and businesses. We are committed to returning 100% of the money raised through the Grants Pass Kiwanis Biz for Kidz Program to the Josephine County and Grants Pass community.
In addition to providing cash to our community, the Kiwanis Club of Grants Pass, Oregon provides grant-writing partnerships and “in-kind” labor for matching funds.
Investment funds have been established to provide “matching funds” for youth health services and construction of playgrounds. Multi-year scholarships are also funded via the support of our investment accounts and are administered through the Josephine County Educational Fund.
Biz for Kidz

100% of donated funds are distributed to local Josephine County youth based programs and scholarships and ZERO is spent on administration. Since its inception, the Biz for Kids Partners have raised more than $310,000 for local youth. A list of business and individuals who donate into the program are listed on the main home page. Kaden’s Kids
In 2022, a generous $10,000 endowment was presented to the Grants Pass Kiwanis Club by the Amaranthus Family Foundation with the request that the funds go towards helping families with children battling cancer defray travel and lodging expenses when medical treatment is required at facilities located outside of Grants Pass.
In memory of Kaden Hopkins who in 2007 succumbed to cancer at age 5, a new and vital program entitled Kaden’s Kids was developed by the Grants Pass Kiwanis Club. Our Club’s mission is to continue raising money and awareness for children battling cancer in Josephine County, and help families cope with expenses incurred in the immediate and stressful aftermath of a child’s cancer diagnosis.
